The oldest object in the collection of liturgical objects is a chalice from the second half of the 14th century. It comes from Vođenica monastery, and was probably made in Dubrovnik; it was acquired for the museum collection in 1947. It is made of gilt silver plate and has an octagonal base. It is decorated with a typically Gothic motif of embossed stylised lilies and quatrefoils. The remainder of the surface is decorated by punching with small circles, and the node is ornamented with motifs of vertical bands of diagonal crosses.
