Ο Πενταδάκτυλος - Pentadaktylos

Στη φωτογραφία απεικονίζεται η οροσειρά του Πενταδακτύλου. Ο Πενταδάκτυλος βρίσκεται κατά μήκος της βόρειας ακτής της Κύπρου. Το όνομα του προέρχεται από την ομώνυμη κορυφή, η οποία έχει το σχήμα παλάμης με πέντε δάκτυλα. Ο Πενταδάκτυλος αποτελείται από αλυσίδα βουνοκορφών, το ύψος των οποίων φτάνει τα 1024 μέτρα. The mountain is located along the northern coast of Cyprus. It took its name from the homonymous peak, which is in a shape of a palm with five fingers. Pentadaktylos is the result of a chain of mountains, of which they have a height of 1024 meters. The length of the mountain range is more than 100 km, while its width rarely exceeds the 5 km.
