Η φωτογραφία απεικονίζει ένα από τα γραφεία της C.I.T.A., του εθνικού τηλεπικοινωνιακού παρόχου της Κύπρου. Το 1955 ονομάστηηκε Cyprus Inland Telecommunications Authority (CITA) και μετονομάστηκε σε CYTA (Cyprus Telecommunication Authority) το 1961, όταν ανέλαβε και τον έλεγχο εξωτερικών επικοινωνιών. Ο φωτογράφος Diran Der Avedissian εργάστηκε ως υπάλληλος στην εταιρεία και κατά τη διάρκεια της ζωής του έβγαλε πολλές φωτογραφίες από τα κτίρια και τη γη που ανήκει στην εταιρεία. Originally established as Cyprus Inland Telecommunications Authority (C.I.T.A.) in 1955, it was renamed CYTA (Cyprus Telecommunication Authority) in 1961 after taking control of external communications. The photographer Diran Der Avedissian worked as employee at the company and during his life took many pictures of the buildings and property owned by the company.
