Magic lantern slides for a moving images

Various magic lantern slides for moving images. Magic lantern projects also allowed for moving images, although they were rather primitive, simple and repetitive. The effect of movement was normally achieved with the combination of two or more glass plates in the same support. At least one of these plates was moved by means of a handle and gears, with levers, pulleys or by the manual movement of one glass plate over the other. In general the subject matter of these plates was humorous, although we do find some slides meant for phantasmagorias and educational purposes.
