Object description:

Cinema camera Kodak, cinekodak A model. Format: 16 mm. Lens: Kodak Anastigmat 1: 3. 5 / 25 mm. (fixed frame). Device in black colour with silver edges. It is the first model of Ciné Kodak for 16 mm. film, starting in 1914. Kodak researched material and techniques to manufacture cameras for the emerging amateur cinema market. The research focused on finding a small format film that was reliable and of high quality. The result was a 16 mm. film put on the market in July 1923. Immediately, and almost simultaneously, cameras and projectors for this film were launched by brands such as Kodak, Victor and Bell & Howell.
